Eyebrow tattoo price in the Philippines: what you are paying for
Ask five salons in Metro Manila for an eyebrow tattoo price and you will get five numbers that are thousands of pesos apart. Some of that gap is skill and some of it is what the quote leaves out. Here is what changes the number, what a fair quote should include, and the questions that show you whether a low price is real.
Why the quotes differ so much
Who does the work
Some studios quote for a junior artist and charge more for the senior one. Others rotate artists between the first session and the retouch. Ask who will hold the machine on both visits. With me the answer is the same person, start to finish.
Whether the retouch is included
Every brow tattoo needs a second visit at six to eight weeks, because skin heals unevenly and a few spots always hold less pigment. A low price that leaves the retouch out becomes a higher price at week six. Mine includes it.
Technique
Powder and ombre brows take longer than a quick shading pass, and correction of old work takes longer still. A price that does not mention the technique is not yet a quote.
Time spent before the needle
Mapping the shape to your face is where most of the result is decided. I spend about forty minutes there, with a pencil and a mirror, before any pigment. A forty minute session in total cannot include that.
Pigments and hygiene
Sealed single-use needles, pigments made for skin and mixed for your tone, and aftercare products cost money. They are also the part of the price you never want cut.
What a fair quote includes
- The consultation and the shape drawn on your face before you commit
- Colour chosen against your skin and hair, not picked from a chart
- The session itself, with numbing before and during
- Aftercare products and written instructions
- The retouch at six to eight weeks, done by the same artist
If any of these is missing, ask what it costs on top.
Where my brow prices stand
Brow prices depend on the technique and on what is already there, so I give an exact price at the free consultation, after I have seen your brows and drawn the shape. Lip blush starts from 12,000 pesos and eyeliner from 10,000, both with the retouch included, and the full list is on the prices page. Correction of someone else’s work is quoted from two photos, because it can range from a simple cover to several lightening sessions first.
Questions that test a cheap quote
- Is the retouch included, and who does it?
- Will you draw the shape on me and wait for my approval before starting?
- Can I see healed photos, not only fresh ones? Fresh work always looks sharper than the result you live with.
- What happens if the colour heals warm or cool?
- Are the needles single-use and opened in front of me?
A good artist answers all five without hesitation.
The real cost of a bad brow
A brow that heals grey, too high or too wide rarely gets fixed in one visit. It may need lightening over several sessions, eight weeks apart, then new work and its retouch. I see this every week, and those clients end up paying twice and waiting most of a year. The guide on old brow tattoos shows what that path looks like.
Is it worth it
Count the minutes you spend on your brows each morning, and what you spend on pencils and powders in a year. For most clients the session pays for itself in time first. The price matters less than whether the person quoting will still be the one fixing it at week six.
The service itself, with healed photos, is on the eyebrow tattoo page. For an exact number for your brows, book the free consultation.
Questions about eyebrow tattoo prices
How much is an eyebrow tattoo with Kate?
It depends on the technique and on any old work, so Kate gives an exact price at the free consultation after drawing the shape on you. The retouch at six to eight weeks is included.
Is the retouch extra?
Not with Kate. It is part of the price and she does it herself.
Why is correction priced separately?
Old work can need a simple cover or several lightening sessions first. Kate quotes it from two daylight photos.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. Twenty minutes, no deposit, and you leave with a photo of the drawing and an exact price.
